The organization proposes multiple payment options, clearer alignment with the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD), and an expanded Annex I to cover all PGRFA. These reforms aim to reduce administrative burdens, improve legal clarity on Digital Sequence Information (DSI), and increase participation across diverse seed companies. A modernized MLS, Euroseeds argues, will strengthen innovation, benefit-sharing, and global food security for farmers and breeders worldwide.
