Ahead of the 2025 Women’s European Football Championships, Norway’s national team unveiled a new jersey inspired by the iconic architecture of the Svalbard Global Seed Vault, according to a LinkedIn post from Crop Trust.
The design features a bold triangular graphic that reflects the Vault’s distinctive entrance, while the colours capture the Arctic landscape and sky — a tribute to the facility that safeguards global crop diversity.
According to Nike, the 2025 secondary kit takes as its foundation the creativity of contemporary Norwegian architecture, particularly the Svalbard Global Seed Vault, which safeguards hundreds of millions of seeds from every corner of the world to ensure crop diversity for future generations.
Blues, violets and greys combine with iridescent details to celebrate the natural brilliance of the Norwegian landscape.
This jersey not only honours a symbol of global sustainability but also represents Norway’s commitment to innovation and preservation both on and off the field.
